The process worked smoothly, the internet was up and running through Google Nest in less than 10 minutes. The G3100 was already connected to the Verizon modem through ethernet, so to switch over to the Google Nest Wifi I simply disconnected the power and ethernet from the G3100 and plugged in the Google router. In order to avoid future monthly rental charges I purchased a Google Nest Wifi AC2200 Router yesterday, but saw a huge decrease in both download and upload speeds as a result. I recently switched from Xfinity to Verizon Fios 200 Mbps internet, and am renting the Verizon G3100 Router for the first month $15/month. Questions about Verizon Wireless can be directed to:
